This group of programmes aims to develop the skills of Egyptian librarians, in the framework of the development of libraries and converted from manual systems to automated systems using the latest information technology in libraries. Training courses has been hold in several areas: automated systems - Electronic Library - the organization and management of libraries ...etc

Such training hold for fresh graduates, from libraries sections. It is a practical training of full-time for one year. It aims to rehabilitate new graduates pursuing their acquisition of basic skills and experience needed to join areas of work in libraries and research centers.

This training hold to libraries section students - transferred from the third year to the fourth - practical training of full-time, during the summer vacation for a period of two months (July and August of each year).
