eLIS has been set up by the IDSC staff, to be compatible with latest technology used in libraries and computer systems fields.

eLIS is a web based system, using MARC21 format to build the bibliographical batabase.

eLIS provides many facilities to assist performing library activities: Acquisition, Serial control, Cataloging, information services, and library holdings inventory.
